As both an artist and an educator, I believe art is a powerful way to communicate ideas, tell stories, and connect with others. My work is inspired by the beauty found in nature, people, and everyday life, with a focus on craftsmanship, observation, and creative problem-solving. Working across a variety of media—including drawing, painting, ceramics, and sculpture—I enjoy exploring both realistic and expressive approaches while continually challenging myself to learn new techniques.

Creating art has taught me the value of patience, perseverance, and curiosity, and these are the same qualities I strive to foster in my students. I believe every student has the ability to grow as an artist when they are encouraged to experiment, take risks, and embrace mistakes as part of the creative process.

In my classroom, I aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel confident expressing themselves while developing technical skills and an appreciation for art throughout history and across cultures. My goal is not only to help students become stronger artists but also to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and confidence that will benefit them far beyond the art room.
